A team from Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) went on an inspection tour of Armani Hotel Dubai in Burj Khalifa on Monday ahead of the luxury property's scheduled opening in March. Armani Hotel Dubai, the first hotel to open under the collaboration between Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and Emaar Properties PJSC, is getting finishing touches.
The date has been announced for the opening of the world’s first Armani Hotel in Dubai. The launch hotel from the fashion designer will finally open on March 18 within the world’s tallest building, which was recently completed in the Emirate and has now been officially named Burj Khalifa.
On March 18—just over a month and a half from now—the world will have its first Armani Hotel on the first 37 stories of the newly-opened world's tallest building—the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. But this won't be the end of Signore Armani's hotels. In fact, it's only the beginning, what with Giorgio signing a contract to have ten Armani Hotel properties around the world by 2019.
Armani told the newspaper that the hotel he designed in Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower, was "a special thing ... a sort of monument to what I have done in my life." The hotel spans 36 floors and includes five restaurants, Armani said.
In preparation for the grand opening of the first Armani Hotel in the world on March 18, 2010, Armani Hotel Dubai has just unveiled their new state-of-the-art online booking system January 31st to begin processing early room reservations. Their new online booking system allows guests to search real-time room availability and book across all room types, including the highly exclusive and one-of-a-kind Armani Dubai Suite.
